RANGA MULO-R JAALI BHAJA

Brishtileena (chhobi...Brishtileena)

ranga mulo-r jaali bhaja

This is a very famous and sumptuous recipe from my granny's kitchen. My father has inherited that mastery. My father is visiting us, so trying to learn from him.

Ingredients:
Red Radish
Rice flour (Chaler gNuro)
salt
sugar
turmeric powder
black cumin(kalo jeera)

Procedure:
1. wash the radish, cut into pieces 1cm thick.
2. take a thin knife make about 1mm apart slits but should not be cut fully.
3.reverse the piece and in the same way slit 1mm apart making an angle of about of 30 degree from the other's side slit...quite mathematical nah?!!! My granny used to do it with boti, a geometrician indeed
4. make a thick solution of rice flour and mix the other ingredients.
5.dip the cut pieces and fry them in hot oil. yummmyyyy !!!
